We have some exciting news to share!

The Scheduled journey

Five years ago we started the Scheduled journey. I noticed I started to forget things in my social circle I really didn’t want to forget. The straw that broke the camel’s back, was that I forgot to send a get-well message to a friend who was undergoing a surgery. Then I thought: “Isn’t there an app that can help me with this?” There wasn’t! And so we set out to make it ourselves!

The first version of the Scheduled app was a simple app with just the function to schedule pre-written messages and get reminded later. The app was picked up by a lot of people and got mentioned on TechCrunch.

Later we introduced the Auto Send feature for SMS messages. This feature enables users to schedule pre-written SMS messages. But the US (and a few other countries) have restrictions regarding the outgoing phone number. Because of this, the planned SMS messages are sent from a different number than your own. Unfortunately, there was nothing we could do about this. Until today! We’ve managed to develop the most requested feature: you can now automatically send messages through iMessage and WhatsApp, from your OWN number!

NEW! Send messages automatically with iMessage, WhatsApp and Telegram

We’re happy to announce our newest update 1.39! Scheduled is now the only app in the world that makes it possible to schedule and send messages automatically with iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS & Email.

So, for iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram and Email, it’s possible to schedule and send messages automatically, from your own number, through your own messengers. In order to do so, you need to install the newest version of the Scheduled app and configure a Personal Automation in Apple Shortcuts.

Please reach out to our support when you’ve any questions or need help with the app.

Happy Scheduling!
